Last night was our kickoff group event at Brio Tuscan Grille at the St. John’s Town Center’s in Jacksonville, FL. We had a great turnout with a mix of members, survivors, founders and a local oncologist who had treated a few of us at Mayo Clinic. Our busy table felt like a group of old friends that had tons to catch up on, laugh about and share. Dinner went on for hours and as the evening came to a close, it was clear to see that this is the start of something big for young adults with cancer!
We would sincerely like to thank everyone at Brio Tuscan Grille for going above and beyond to make our first Live For Today group event so memorable! Everything from the private room to the delicious family style Italian meal to the service was wonderful and your gracious generosity will not be forgotten!
Moving forward, we are planning to have a group dinner every 3rd Thursday of the month (locations will vary), so please contact us if you or someone you know would like to join us.
