It’s here! We’re pumped to officially share the launch of our website, www.live-for-today.org, and social media channels. Check it all out to discover who we are, why we’re passionate about helping young adults with cancer, and how you can get involved.
“Living for today is all about feeling young and alive. Having cancer didn’t change that for me, it just made it more important to get out and enjoy each day. For me, the most important part of designing the website was to capture that mantra – carpe diem – so to speak. The result is a clean, modern design that I hope will inspire young adults, friends, families and the community to become involved with our organization.” – Todd Blake, Live for Today Founder & President

This organization defines what it means to be a survivor in every sense of the word. Those who will benefit from your efforts will be forever grateful for making them feel like they can LIVE despite their situation. I think the website is great, very user-friendly and I really like the vibrant colors. I am here to help out in any capacity that I can. I commend you on your efforts and willingness to help those in need.
I am so proud of this organization and its outreach goals. Having been diagnosed with cancer within 3 months of getting engaged (at age 22), I can certainly recall that feeling that life was just going to stop. I wasn’t the right age- I wasn’t the right person- there had to be a mistake, because I had a life to live. Having family, friends, and faith, you realize that your life doesn’t have to stop. Instead, you can learn how much to really appreciate your time and really start living. This organization completely encompasses that, and I’m so glad it will serve as a reminder that you aren’t alone and you can continue to live your life as you have been or even live it better and harder!
A special congratulations to my Phi Mu sister and one of the Live for Today founders, Kaitlyn Ash. She is truly a marvel.
Wishing you all the best!
