In December of 2013, one of our newest members, Chris Lynch was diagnosed with Stage 3 Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. During his treatment many people asked how they could show their support to both Chris and his family. Chris chose to use this support to fundraise for the charity of his choice…the Live For Today Foundation!
As a result, his father’s company, GolfNow, hosted The Chris Lynch Golf Marathon at The Country Club of Orlando on May 5th, 2014 to raise money for our cause. The goal was to play 100 holes in one day. It wasn’t easy…but it was possible!
GolfNow created a small field for their employees and enjoyed having the course to themselves from sunrise to sunset. With the help of a remarkable fundraising effort, the tournament raised over $12,000 towards empowering young adults with cancer.
